Garden Winds Launches Redesigned and Improved Online Webstore

Benicia, CA—Garden Winds, a division of Kingsum, Inc., launched its redesigned and improved online retail website today. Launched in 2004, www.gardenwinds.com features a variety of garden and home décor, from patio furniture, home antique furniture, arbors and gazebos, to willow trellises, willow fencing, tropical thatching, and tiki umbrellas, just to name a few.

The site has evolved in the past five years, as Garden Winds is now known as the home of the ‘country’s largest selection of gazebo canopies’. While the retail website still offers products exclusively for the home or the garden, the offering of custom replacement canopies for gazebos sold at big box retail stores allowed Garden Winds to emerge as a leader and the place to shop for a canopy.

The addition of online videos, a search by function, and a standardized specifications chart that describe most of the products Garden Winds offers will remain the same. The improved website will be a welcome change for the company, as well as its customers. “We’ve made many piecemeal site enhancements since 2005 to improve the shopping experience.  Over time, these improvements have given our site a ‘choppy and disconnected’ appearance.  Our site redesign is an attempt to streamline these changes into a fresh look and feel.    We’ve retained many of the user friendly product presentation conventions, but also made many pertinent order information data more apparent to customers.  This site will allow us to better serve customers when they shop on gardenwinds.com,” says Michael Yim, president and CEO.
